Unfortunately, my experience with Absolute Roofing 24/7 LTD is not one I would ever want to repeat.
The initial experience was excellent. The company responded quickly to my enquiry, provided a quotation promptly, and started work within 24 hours of the assessment. The agreed work included repointing the chimney and roof ridge, repairing the guttering, and adding lead-work at each end of the guttering on our Grade II listed cottage.
I believe the quotation was provided by Johnny Dochery, who resigned as a director on 1 July. However, Christopher McCann was my main point of contact and carried out the work.
While the company was efficient in quoting for and completing the initial work, the aftercare has been extremely disappointing. The guttering repair was left in a worse condition than before, and despite numerous promises to return and rectify the problem, appointments were repeatedly missed. Attempts have been made on 2 separate occasions but failed again to rectify.
The excuses for not attending became increasingly unacceptable in the end.
I have been patient and accommodating throughout, giving Christopher McCann and Absolute Roofing 24/7 LTD every opportunity to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, after exhausting all reasonable attempts to reach an amicable solution, I have had no choice but to seek legal advice and begin court proceedings.
Taking legal action was never my preferred outcome, but enough is enough. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
