Let us help you build a mentally healthy workforce, ensuring compliance and promoting wellbeing.
Neurodiversity Workplace Assessments
Neurodiversity is now widely discussed in workplaces, but many organisations struggle to translate awareness into practical, defensible action. Understanding that brains work differently is one thing. Knowing what to do when a talented employee suddenly struggles, when performance doesn't match capability, or when stress-related absence becomes a pattern that's where organisations need expert guidance.
Health Surveillance for Regulatory Compliance & Wellbeing
We understand that navigating health surveillance can feel overwhelming. That's why, at Workforce Wellbeing, we see it as a partnership in protecting your team. We don't just tick boxes; we implement a strategic approach to identifying and addressing work-related health risks. For your employees exposed to hazards like hand-arm vibration, noise, and respiratory sensitisers, statutory health surveillance is crucial. For those high-risk scenarios involving asbestos, ionising radiations, or lead, you can trust our HSE-appointed doctors to deliver expert assessments with compassion and precision.
HAVS
Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome are the main medical conditions associated with exposure to hand arm vibration. The usual sources of hand arm vibration are pneumatic and rotatory tools such as grinders, drills, impact wrenches, jack hammers, riveting guns, chainsaws, grass trimmers, etc.
Asbestos Medical
We can arrange asbestos medicals either at our nationally located clinics or conveniently on your site. Please note that the availability of doctors qualified to conduct asbestos medicals can vary by location. To confirm if we can assist with your medical in your specific area, please contact our admin team.
Ionising Radiations
Our HSE appointed doctors can help with the medical surveillance in accordance with the Ionising Radiations Regulations. We can also provide professional occupational health advice if you have any concerns in relation to a pregnant worker or employees who have been accidentally exposed to a high dose of Ionising Radiations.
Lead Medical
Lead has long been recognised as a substance that can be harmful. Excessive exposure to lead can take place through inhalation, ingestion and skin absorption (e.g. Lead alkyls). The Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2022 require the employers to prevent or adequately control the exposure of workers.
Hearing
Compelling evidence shows that noise induced hearing loss is one of the most common occupational health disorders. This is an area where the HSE is very keen to improve the occupational health and safety standards. The health and safety regulations require the employer to implement specific measures when an employee is unlikely to be exposed to certain levels of noise in the workplace.
Respiratory
Workplace exposures can harm respiratory health. Our spirometry assessments are vital for monitoring lung function and ensuring the wellbeing of your workforce. Spirometry is a simple test measuring how much and how quickly you breathe out. It helps detect early lung issues linked to work.
