PLATE GIRDER® System for Straight Walls
PLATE GIRDER WALL FEATURES

• Available in widths of 2' to 12' (600 mm to 3600 mm) and lengths of 1' to 20' (300 mm to 6000 mm)
• Combination Bias Corners (CBC) and Reverse CBC corners eliminate costly wood fills
• Capable of achieving 64 ft2 (5.76 m2) of form area per tie
• Withstands pour pressures up to 3800 lb/ft2 (190 kPa)
• Provides an architectural concrete finish

The EFCO PLATE GIRDER® forming system makes excellent wall forms, designed and built for setting and flying in large sections. Using EFCO’s Quick Bolt and Quick Pin,?PLATE GIRDER panels can be assembled into gangs as large as your crane capacity. The system features modular versatility and produces an excellent concrete finish.

E-BEAM® & SUPER STUD® Stronger Corner Construction
A major advantage of using the E-BEAM & SUPER STUD system is the strength of the corners. Typically, the most time consuming and costly element of forming any structure will involve the corners. Any experienced crew can build an inside corner using lumber; however, they are generally not fabricated to be cycled along with the main wall forming gang panels.

The outside corners are a more complicated situation. Ties are located far apart, and it becomes more difficult to secure the formwork within the wall thickness requiring a sturdy form to span from the nearest tie to the outside corner. EFCO has designed both an inside and outside corner solution that provides strength and eliminates the risk of costly blow-out situations. Furthermore, the corner can be cycled with the wall gang.

RAPID CAST
Strong, Efficient & Safe
With its lightweight frame construction and durable composite facing, EFCO’s RAPID CAST system is ideal for various concrete forming applications. The largest panel weighs just 5.1?psf and can support pour pressures of 1500 psf for liquid head placements up to 10 feet high. RAPID CAST is suitable for both handset and ganged wall applications. Clamped connections provide rapid assembly and alignment—perfect for realizing the lowest in-place concrete cost.
